SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Volcano Day is the only tour operator in León that is 100% owned and run by Nicaraguans. We aspire to be a platform for empowerment of local talent. We provide opportunities to local youngsters in the form of internships and training, in order for them to develop their skills, so that they can grow into a permanent position with us, as well as pursue other goals in life. Our locals are provided with all the tools to overcome the barriers to become skilled professionals in their job, as well as acquire valuable skills that will serve them later on in life, such as language skills.
